ImInclusive: Transforming Lives One Opportunity at a Time

In 2022, Hafsa Qadeer took a leap of faith by leaving her job to pursue a larger mission of creating a platform for people of determination, inspired by her brother Ahmed. This bold move was driven by her desire to address the lack of recognition and opportunities for individuals with disabilities in the workplace. Through her initiative, ImInclusive, Hafsa aims to provide a space where people of determination can showcase their talents and abilities without being defined by their disabilities.

ImInclusive has evolved from a simple idea to a revenue-generating social enterprise that not only connects people of determination with job opportunities but also provides disability inclusion services to large-scale employers. By offering training programs and consulting services, ImInclusive helps organizations develop strategies to build disability-inclusive workplaces, ultimately leading to higher revenues and a more diverse workforce. The success of ImInclusive has attracted the attention of prominent clients like Dnata and Chalhoub Group, who have embraced the platform as part of their HR strategy.

One of the significant milestones for ImInclusive was the launch of the largest career fair for Emirati people of determination in the UAE in 2024. This event provided a platform for employers, corporate entities, and government sectors to explore and implement disability-inclusive employment solutions. Through initiatives like career fairs and targeted training programs, ImInclusive has created over 400 economic opportunities for people of determination, empowering them to succeed in their professional journeys.

ImInclusive not only offers full-time roles but also part-time, contractual, and event-based opportunities, catering to the diverse needs of individuals with disabilities. The organization’s structured upskilling pathway ensures that candidates are equipped with the necessary skills and confidence to enter the workforce successfully. By creating assignments that can be completed remotely, ImInclusive enables individuals to contribute to the corporate chain while receiving compensation for their efforts, adding direct value to the companies they partner with.

Despite the achievements and milestones, the core mission of ImInclusive remains centered on the belief that disability should not limit a person’s ability to work or live fully. By challenging societal norms and advocating for the recognition of people of determination as equal and capable individuals, Hafsa and her team are committed to expanding their impact and breaking down barriers for individuals with disabilities. With ambitious plans for future career fairs and initiatives, ImInclusive continues to push the boundaries of what is possible and create a more inclusive and equitable society for all.
