Dubai Health Authority (DHA) has launched a campaign focusing on children’s dental health as students gear up to return to classrooms. The DHA has partnered with Dr Joy Dental Clinic to provide teeth examinations, preventive campaigns, and awareness programmes for the upcoming school year. The authority conducts periodic campaigns and screenings for school students in Dubai to ensure their dental health is taken care of. A memorandum of understanding was recently signed between the DHA and Dr Joy Dental Clinic to enhance preventive measures within the community.

Dr Ramadan Al Blooshi, advisor to the director-general of the DHA and acting director of the authority’s Public Health Protection Department, highlighted that the partnership covers a series of initiatives and programmes aimed at safeguarding school students’ dental health through preventative screenings. Dr Joy Antony, founder and CEO of the clinic, mentioned that their facilities are equipped with teams and tools to serve all individuals, including people of determination. The partnership aims to ensure that students receive the necessary dental care to maintain good oral health.
