Lebanese Caretaker Prime Minister Najib Mikati recently met with Qatari Minister of State for International Cooperation Lolwah bint Rashid Al Khater in Beirut. Minister Al Khater reiterated Qatar’s full solidarity with Lebanon and its commitment to supporting the Lebanese people and their right to maintain sovereignty. She mentioned the launch of an air bridge by Qatar to send urgent medical and relief aid to Lebanon, following the directives of Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani.

The State Minister highlighted Qatar’s readiness to provide assistance to de-escalate tensions and enhance security and stability in the region.
