Kompany commends Bayern’s ‘exceptional mindset’ in comeback victory – News

Bayern Munich’s new coach, Vincent Kompany, commended his team’s mentality after their 3-2 comeback victory against Wolfsburg. Despite being down 2-1 in the second half, Bayern managed to turn the match in their favor, with Kompany praising their mindset for leading them to victory. He highlighted that although they made mistakes, their strong mentality drove them to succeed.

In his post-match interview with DAZN, Kompany expressed his enjoyment of his first Bundesliga match as coach and credited Bayern’s dominant first-half performance. He acknowledged that the start of the second half was challenging, but their positive mindset ultimately helped them secure the win. Despite the victory, Kane acknowledged that the team is still working on implementing the coach’s ideas and improving their performance. He mentioned that there is room for growth and development within the team, and expressed his satisfaction with having a week to work on refining their strategies. Bayern will face Freiburg in their next match at Munich, looking to build on their recent success and continue their winning streak.
