Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman recently made several important appointments in the government of Saudi Arabia. One of the most notable appointments was that of Khalid Al-Abdulkarim as secretary general of the Council of Ministers, with the rank of a minister. Additionally, Abdul Mohsen Al-Tuwaijri was relieved of his position as Deputy Minister of the National Guard and appointed as an advisor to the Royal Court with the rank of a minister. Al-Shehana bint Saleh Al-Azzaz was also relieved of her position as Deputy Secretary General of the Cabinet.

Moreover, Prince Abdulaziz Al-Muqrin was appointed as a special advisor to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques with the rank of a minister, and was tasked with carrying out the work of the deputy minister of the National Guard. Other appointments included Mazen Al-Sudairi as an advisor to the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers, Eng. Sami Muqeem as vice president of the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority, Abdul Mohsen Al-Khalaf as deputy minister of finance, and Al-Rabdi bin Fahd Al-Rabdi as head of the National Data Management Office. All of these appointments were made with the excellent rank, indicating the high level of importance and responsibility associated with these positions.

The appointment of Khalid Al-Abdulkarim as secretary general of the Council of Ministers is particularly significant, as it places him in a key position within the Saudi government. As a ministerial rank position, Al-Abdulkarim will be responsible for overseeing the operations of the Council of Ministers, which plays a crucial role in the decision-making process of the Saudi government. This appointment reflects the King’s confidence in Al-Abdulkarim’s abilities and his commitment to advancing the government’s agenda.

Furthermore, the appointment of Abdul Mohsen Al-Tuwaijri as an advisor to the Royal Court underscores his continued importance within the government despite being relieved of his previous position. As an advisor with the rank of a minister, Al-Tuwaijri will likely continue to play a key role in advising the King on important matters of national importance. Similarly, the appointment of Prince Abdulaziz Al-Muqrin as a special advisor to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques highlights the King’s desire to surround himself with trusted advisors who can help shape the country’s policies and decisions.

In addition, the appointments of Mazen Al-Sudairi, Eng. Sami Muqeem, Abdul Mohsen Al-Khalaf, and Al-Rabdi bin Fahd Al-Rabdi to key positions within the government demonstrate the King’s commitment to ensuring that highly qualified individuals are leading important government agencies and departments. These appointments signal a focus on expertise, experience, and professionalism, all of which are crucial for driving forward the government’s agenda and achieving its objectives. By appointing individuals with excellent ranks to these positions, the King is sending a clear message about the importance of competence and capability in governance.

Overall, the recent royal decrees issued by Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman reflect a strategic approach to governance and decision-making in Saudi Arabia. The appointments of Khalid Al-Abdulkarim, Abdul Mohsen Al-Tuwaijri, Prince Abdulaziz Al-Muqrin, and others to key positions within the government indicate a focus on ensuring strong leadership and effective management of key government institutions. These appointments also highlight the importance of continuity and stability in government, as individuals with proven track records and experience are entrusted with leading important government functions. As Saudi Arabia continues to navigate complex domestic and international challenges, these appointments signal the government’s commitment to maintaining a steady hand and pursuing a strategic vision for the country’s future.
