The KCA-BFC Indian Talent Scan 2025, a vibrant showcase of artistic prowess among Indian children in Bahrain, recently concluded to resounding success. Over 1,200 young talents from more than ten schools participated in the festival, demonstrating remarkable skills across a diverse range of disciplines. This year’s Indian Talent Scan proved to be a landmark event, solidifying its position as a premier platform for nurturing and celebrating the creative spirit of the Indian diaspora in the Kingdom.

The festival, which began on October 18th, featured a stunning array of performances and exhibits. Students competed in over 180 items categorized under Dance, Music, Arts & Crafts, and Literature. The sheer volume of participation highlights the strong emphasis placed on arts education within the Indian community in Bahrain and the eagerness of children to express themselves creatively.
Notably, team events in both the Junior and Senior categories witnessed record-breaking participation numbers. This collaborative aspect of the competition fostered teamwork, camaraderie, and a shared passion for the arts. Organizers were particularly pleased with the level of dedication and preparation displayed by all contestants.
Ensuring Quality and Expertise
To maintain a high standard of competition, the organizers thoughtfully included expert judges flown in directly from India for the classical dance events. Gayathri Sudheer from New Millennium School was awarded the coveted title of Kalathilakam (Arts Queen), achieving an impressive score of 101 points. Shaurya Sreejith of The Asian School was recognized as the Kalaprathibha (Arts Prodigy), earning 77 points for his outstanding performance.
Beyond the top honors, several students received Excellence Awards: Ayana Suji (Natya Ratna for Dance), Arjun Raj (Sangeetha Ratna for Music), Anliya Rajesh (Kala Ratna for Arts & Crafts), and Priyamvada N.S. (Sahitya Ratna for Literature). These awards acknowledged specific achievements and encouraged continued dedication to their respective art forms.
The Group Championships were also fiercely contested, with victories going to Devakripa Krishnaprasad T., Nihara Milan, Punya Shaji, Vaiga Prashant, and Priyamvada N.S. Ida Jith and Joan Sijo were further honored with the KCA Special Championship Awards, recognizing their unique contributions and exceptional talent. A press conference was held to announce the successful completion of the event and to unveil details of the upcoming Grand Finale. Key figures present included Simi Leo (ITS Chairperson), Joyal Jose (ITS Vice Chairman), K M Thomas (ITS Vice Chairman), Leo Joseph (Ex Officio), Anand Nair (Business Development Officer-BFC), James John (President -KCA), Vinu Christy (General Secretary-KCA), and Jince Joseph (Lounge Secretary).
The Grand Finale and Awards Distribution Ceremony is scheduled for Friday, December 12, 2025, at 6:00 PM at the KCA-VKL Auditorium in Segayya. The event promises to be a spectacular occasion, with State Film Award winner for Best Actress, Vincy Aloshious, serving as the Chief Guest. She will be presenting over 800 trophies and participation certificates, acknowledging the efforts of every contestant involved in the talent competition.
