Katara reveals shortlist of top works in 10th Arabic Novel Prize

The 10th edition of the Katara Prize for Arabic Novel has announced a list of 36 novels and critical studies that are in the running to win the prestigious award. The list includes a variety of categories such as published and unpublished novels, young adult novels, critical studies, and historical novels. Authors from six Arab countries have been featured in the published novels category, with Egypt leading with four novels. The unpublished novels category includes authors from seven Arab countries, with Morocco having the most entries with three novels. Katara has made amendments to the shortlisted art works for the tenth edition, with 18 works being shortlisted in June of each year.
