South Korean singer Suga, a member of the K-pop group BTS, was recently questioned by police for drunk driving on an electric scooter. Earlier in the month, he had apologized after being fined and having his license revoked for the incident. Suga expressed his deep regret to reporters upon arriving at the police station, wearing a black suit and bowing deeply.

Police are expected to investigate how much alcohol Suga consumed and why he chose to drive while intoxicated. Reports suggest that he was so drunk on the day of the incident that he could not respond to police questions properly. Suga’s label, Big Hit Music, confirmed that he tripped while parking the scooter at night and failed a breath test conducted by the police.

Following the incident, some fans placed flower wreaths near the HYBE headquarters with messages asking Suga to leave the band. However, there has been no response from HYBE regarding the situation. BTS members have been pursuing solo activities since announcing a break from group projects in June 2022, ahead of starting their military service, with Suga engaging in social service work to fulfill his military duty commitment.

In conclusion, South Korean singer Suga of K-pop group BTS faced police questioning for drunk driving on an electric scooter, leading to his license being revoked. He apologized for disappointing fans and expressed deep regret over the incident. Police are investigating the extent of his alcohol consumption and reasons for choosing to drive while intoxicated. Despite the backlash from some fans, Suga’s label has not commented on the situation. Suga and other BTS members have been pursuing solo activities before starting their military service.
