In a recent meeting in Muscat, Dr. Rahma Ahmed Al Shaibani, Minister of Education, and Dr. Rahma Ibrahim Al Mahrouqi, Minister of Higher Education, Research and Innovation, discussed the recommendations put forth at the Educational Specialisations Symposium in March 2024. The aim of the meeting was to devise mechanisms for implementing these recommendations effectively to achieve the desired objectives.

One of the key points discussed was the importance of activating the recommendations made at the symposium. Both ministers emphasized the need to ensure that these recommendations are put into action in a timely and efficient manner. This includes collaborating with relevant stakeholders to facilitate the implementation process.

The symposium, which took place earlier in 2024, brought together experts and professionals in the field of education to discuss and propose solutions to issues related to educational specializations. The meeting between the two ministers focused on how these recommendations can be integrated into existing education and higher education systems to bring about positive change.

Dr. Rahma Ahmed Al Shaibani and Dr. Rahma Ibrahim Al Mahrouqi also discussed the ways in which these recommendations can be aligned with the broader goals of the education sector in Oman. By ensuring that the recommendations support the overall vision and mission of the sector, the ministers hope to create a more cohesive and effective educational system.

The meeting highlighted the importance of collaboration between the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation to successfully implement the recommendations. By working together, the two ministries can leverage their respective expertise and resources to bring about meaningful change in the education sector.

Overall, the joint meeting between Dr. Rahma Ahmed Al Shaibani and Dr. Rahma Ibrahim Al Mahrouqi focused on the implementation of recommendations from the Educational Specialisations Symposium. By activating these recommendations and aligning them with broader sector goals, the ministers aim to improve the quality and effectiveness of education in Oman.
