With the 106th edition of the USPGA Championship at Valhalla, Kentucky, all eyes are on Rory McIlroy, who last won a major event back in 2014. McIlroy, who won the 2014 USPGA Championship on the same course at Valhalla, is in top form after his recent victory at the Wells Fargo Championship. His confidence is sky high, and he is one of the favorites to win this week’s major tournament.

Dubai-based Adrian Meronk and Tommy Fleetwood are also competing, with Meronk aiming to gain OWGR points and Fleetwood overdue for a major win. With the dominant player of the year, Scottie Scheffler, returning after becoming a father, the competition for the Wanamaker Trophy promises to be exciting. Defending champion Brooks Koepka will also be a top contender to watch.

On the LPGA side, the Mizuho Americas Open at Liberty National Golf Club in New York will feature a field of 120 LPGA professionals alongside 24 top-ranked junior girls from the American Junior Golf Association Tour. The tournament host, Michelle Wie, will also be hosting the inaugural Mizuho DrivHER Summit, featuring several influential women and representatives from Mizuho Financial Group.

The Ladies European Tour will see Kristina Napoleaova defending her title at the AMUNDI German Masters in June. The tournament schedule includes the USPGA Championship at Valhalla, the Mizuho Americas Open at Liberty National, and the AMUNDI German Masters at Golf & Country Club in Seddiner See, Germany. The competition promises to be intense with top players from around the world competing for prestigious titles and lucrative purses.

In conclusion, the golfing world is gearing up for some thrilling action as top players compete in major championships across the globe. With Rory McIlroy, Tommy Fleetwood, Scottie Scheffler, and the defending champion Brooks Koepka in the mix, fans can expect an exciting week of golf at Valhalla, Liberty National, and Golf & Country Club. Whether it’s a breakthrough victory for a seasoned player or a rising star making their mark, the tournaments offer something for every golf enthusiast to enjoy.
