Interior Minister participates in the launch of the Security Command and Staff Program at the Police Academy

The Security Command and Staff Program, launched by the Police Academy in Doha, Qatar, was attended by HE Sheikh Khalifa bin Hamad bin Khalifa Al-Thani, Minister of Interior and Commander of the Internal Security Force. The program’s first batch consists of 15 leaders and officers from various security agencies in the country, including the Ministry of Interior, Lekhwiya, Amiri Guard, and the State Security Bureau. The program is designed to span one year, with a curriculum of 30 credit hours focused on specialized learning, research, and practical skills. Participants will also engage in real-life exercises and educational visits both domestically and internationally to enhance their knowledge and experience in security leadership.

Upon completion of the Security Command and Staff Program, graduates will receive a Master’s degree in Security Leadership accredited by the Ministry of Education and Higher Education. Additionally, they will be awarded a certificate of completion for the course, recognizing their successful participation and achievement throughout the program. The comprehensive nature of the program aims to equip leaders and officers with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in the field of security and effectively lead their teams in challenging situations.

By offering a combination of theoretical knowledge, practical skills, and real-life experiences, the Security Command and Staff Program seeks to provide participants with a well-rounded education in security leadership. Through a diverse curriculum that includes research, specialized learning, and hands-on exercises, the program aims to prepare graduates for the complexities of modern security environments. Furthermore, educational visits within and outside the country will offer participants valuable insights and perspectives on different approaches to security management.
