Dubai residents Cristian Lanzanova and Austeja Brasiunaite fell in love with the city. They met, fell in love, and got married in Dubai. They opened ABRA Consulting, a marketing, communications, and events company, to align with each client’s goals and values. Austeja, originally from Lithuania, came to Dubai five years ago as a project manager, and Cristian, from Italy, has more experience in the region. They found support from mentors in their social network.

The couple’s entrepreneurial journey was fueled by support from friends, peers, and past clients. Their strong relationships and network played a significant role in their success. Austeja’s mother’s career as a PR agency owner inspired her to pursue entrepreneurship. Cristian’s family background in running a business also motivated him. Their unique perspectives value growth and a strong foundation. Dubai’s multicultural environment benefits their business by working with clients from all over the world.

Dubai provided the perfect backdrop for the couple’s love story to unfold. They met during the preparations for Expo 2020 and quickly fell in love. They describe their relationship as a beautiful love story that was tested and strengthened during the intense period of Expo 2020 Dubai. Balancing work and personal life in a city like Dubai was challenging but rewarding for the couple. Their love story in a culturally diverse city led to their dream of starting a business together. Opening their company in Dubai, where they met and fell in love, felt natural and timely to them. Their meeting in Dubai was a miracle that sparked both their business and love story.
