Industry Minister Commends Almarai’s Contributions at Saudi Food 2024 Exhibition

Almarai recently took part in the Saudi Food 2024 exhibition, which was held in Riyadh from May 21 to 23. The event, organized under the patronage of the Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources, Bandar bin Ibrahim Al-Khorayef, and in collaboration with MODON, featured more than 1,000 exhibitors from various countries. Almarai officials briefed Minister Al-Khorayef on the company’s efforts to improve consumers’ daily lives with high-quality food and beverages. The minister praised Almarai for its contributions to the food industry and food security in Saudi Arabia, acknowledging it as a sector leader.

At the exhibition, Mohammed Alshuhail, Executive Vice President of Almarai’s Food Service Division, discussed the specialized customer services provided by Almarai Pro to over 35,000 clients in the food service sector. Alshuhail highlighted the division’s dedication to quality and innovation. Monther Mahmoud Tayeb, Executive Vice President of Corporate Communications at Almarai, emphasized the company’s significant role in the food and beverage industry in Saudi Arabia and the Gulf region. He pointed out that Almarai’s investment strategy for 2024-2028 aims to solidify its position as the world’s largest vertically integrated dairy company and a regional food sector leader.

The Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources, Bandar bin Ibrahim Al-Khorayef, visited the Almarai pavilion during the exhibition to learn about the company’s initiatives and future plans. Al-Khorayef commended Almarai for its commitment to developing the food industry and enhancing food security in Saudi Arabia. Almarai’s ambitious five-year investment strategy, advancements in food manufacturing, and upcoming investment plans were highlighted during the visit. The Minister recognized Almarai as a key player in the food sector and praised its efforts to provide high-quality food and beverages to consumers.

The participation of Almarai in the Saudi Food 2024 exhibition showcased the company’s leadership in the food and beverage industry in Saudi Arabia and the Gulf region. The event provided a platform for Almarai to demonstrate its ongoing commitment to innovation and quality in its products and services. The company’s Executive Vice Presidents highlighted the specialized customer services offered through Almarai Pro and outlined the company’s investment strategy for the coming years. Almarai aims to further strengthen its position as a global dairy industry leader and a regional food sector pioneer through its strategic investments and advancements in food manufacturing.
