Indian Schools in Oman celebrated the outstanding performance of their students in the recent Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) results. The results for Classes 10 and 12 in 2024 have set a new record for the schools, with an increased percentage of high achievers compared to previous years. Dr. Sivakumar Manickam, Chairman of the Board of Directors, congratulated the students for their exceptional results and praised the efforts of the Principals and School Managements in supporting the students. He emphasized the importance of the positive educational environment, continuous follow-up by teachers, and unstinting support from parents in helping the students excel in their exams.

The Oman toppers in Class 12 Science stream included students from Indian Schools in Darsait, Salalah, Sohar, Muscat, and Al Wadi Al Kabir, with impressive scores ranging from 97.8% to 99%. In the Commerce Stream, students from Indian Schools in Al Wadi Al Kabir, Sohar, and Al Ghubra secured the top positions with scores ranging from 96.6% to 98.6%. The Humanities stream also saw exceptional performances, with students from Al Ghubra, Muscat, and Al Wadi Al Kabir claiming the top spots with scores ranging from 97.8% to 98.6%. The Class X results were equally impressive, with students from various Indian Schools in Oman securing top positions with scores ranging from 98.4% to 98.8%.

The Indian Schools in Oman aim to provide a supportive environment for all students, regardless of their academic performance. In addition to regular lessons, the schools have implemented initiatives such as Remedial Classes, Virtual Learning Environment, and common pre-board examinations to ensure the well-being and success of every child. The schools do not restrict admissions based on academic performance, ensuring that every child seeking admission finds a place in the school. These initiatives reflect the schools’ commitment to providing a holistic educational experience that supports the growth and development of every student.

Overall, the outstanding performance of the Indian Schools in Oman in the CBSE results highlights the dedication and hard work of the students, teachers, and parents. The record-breaking results set a new benchmark for academic excellence in the schools, showcasing the commitment of all stakeholders in providing a positive and supportive educational environment. The achievements of the students reflect not only their academic abilities but also the efforts of the schools in nurturing and supporting them to reach their full potential. Congratulations to all the students and schools for their stupendous results, setting a shining example of excellence in education in Oman.
