The rain-hit second test match between India and Bangladesh saw the third day being called off without a single ball being bowled. The match officials inspected the field and due to a wet outfield at the Green Park Stadium, play was not possible. This was following the washout on Saturday, which had also affected the game. Bangladesh was stuck on 107-3 after 35 overs, with Mominul Haque scoring 40 runs and Mushfiqur Rahim on six. India had won the opening Test in Chennai by 280 runs and were looking to secure a record-extending 18th successive test series victory on home soil with a draw in Kanpur.

India, who are at the top of the World Test Championship standings, are aiming to make it to the WTC final for the third consecutive time. The team is in a strong position to achieve this goal and is looking to maintain their lead. The rain interruptions in the second Test have been a setback for both teams, but India remains focused on their target. With a strong performance in the opening Test, India is confident in their abilities to secure another victory and continue their dominance in test cricket.

The match delay has impacted the momentum of the game, with players from both teams eager to get back on the field and resume play. The wet conditions have made it challenging for the teams, but they are prepared to face these obstacles and give their best performance once the game resumes. The Indian team is looking to maintain their form and secure another win, while Bangladesh is determined to bounce back and put up a strong fight in the remaining days of the Test.

The ongoing test series between India and Bangladesh has showcased some thrilling moments, with both teams displaying their skills and determination. The fans are eagerly awaiting the resumption of play and hoping for an exciting finish to the series. The match officials will continue to monitor the field conditions and ensure the safety of the players before play can resume. The players are determined to give their best performance and put on a show for the fans, despite the challenges posed by the rain interruptions.

As the scheduled days of the Test match are limited, both teams will be looking to make the most of the remaining time and put on a competitive display. India’s record in home soil is impressive, and they will be looking to add another victory to their tally. Bangladesh, on the other hand, will be aiming to bounce back from the setbacks in the first Test and put up a strong fight in the remaining days of the series. The focus will be on the players as they prepare to resume play and give their all on the field, despite the challenges posed by the weather conditions.
