Impressive Return Secures Rowdat Rashid Cup Victory

Return To Senders, ridden by Marco Casamento and trained by Gassim Ghazali, emerged victorious in the Rowdat Rashid Cup at Al Rayyan Racecourse in Doha, Qatar. In an exciting finish, the seven-year-old horse crossed the finish line with a nose to spare ahead of Secret Victory, securing the win for owner Nasser Saeed M S Al Eida. The thrilling race showcased the talent and skill of both the horse and jockey as they outpaced their competitors in the final strides of the race.

The Rowdat Rashid Cup was just one of seven races held at Al Rayyan Racecourse, with Keel Bay, Roma, Jadal, Blazing Sunset, Washeek, and Mutamarrid also securing victories. The event drew a large crowd of spectators and enthusiasts who witnessed the excitement and drama of the races unfold. The competitive spirit and determination displayed by the participating horses and jockeys added to the thrill of the event, making it a memorable day for all in attendance.

Following the success of the Rowdat Rashid Cup, four more races are scheduled to take place at Al Uqda Racecourse, including the highly anticipated feature event for the Umm Bab Cup (Div 1). The racing community eagerly anticipates the upcoming races and looks forward to witnessing more exhilarating performances from the talented horses and jockeys.

The Rowdat Rashid Cup featured a diverse range of races, including the Thoroughbred Handicap 85-105 won by Return To Senders, the Thoroughbred (Fillies & Mares) race won by Keel Bay, the Local Purebred Arabian Handicap 65-90 (Fillies & Mares) race won by Roma, the Local Purebred Arabian Handicap 50-70 race won by Jadal, the Thoroughbred Handicap 55-75 race won by Blazing Sunset, the Thoroughbred Maiden Plate won by Washeek, and the Local Thoroughbred Handicap 40-60 race won by Mutamarrid.

Overall, the Rowdat Rashid Cup at Al Rayyan Racecourse was a day filled with excitement, competition, and impressive performances by the horses and jockeys. The event showcased the beauty and thrill of horse racing, drawing in spectators from all around to witness the thrilling races unfold. With more races scheduled in the coming days, the racing community eagerly awaits the next opportunity to witness the talent and skill of these remarkable horses and jockeys as they compete for victory on the track.
