His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa recently made two key appointments in Bahrain. The first appointment was Dr. Anwar Khalifa Ibrahim Al Sada as a new member of the Shura Council, succeeding Abdulrahman Mohammed Saif Jamsheer. Dr. Al Sada’s term will continue until the end of the sixth legislative session. The appointment was made official through Order (35) of 2024, and it will be effective from the date of its issuance and published in the Official Gazette.

In addition to the Shura Council appointment, HM the King also issued Royal Order (36) of 2024 appointing Ahmed Hamad Abdullah Al Dosari as a deputy president of the Constitutional Court for a five-year term. These appointments showcase the King’s commitment to ensuring skilled individuals are in key positions within Bahrain’s governmental bodies.

Dr. Anwar Khalifa Ibrahim Al Sada’s appointment brings a fresh perspective to the Shura Council and will contribute to the council’s decision-making process. With his expertise and experience, Dr. Al Sada is well-equipped to handle the responsibilities of the role and represent the interests of the Bahraini people effectively.

As a member of the Shura Council, Dr. Al Sada will work alongside other council members to review and propose legislation, discuss national issues, and provide recommendations to the government. His appointment reflects the government’s efforts to diversify representation and include voices from various sectors of Bahraini society in the decision-making process.

The appointment of Ahmed Hamad Abdullah Al Dosari as deputy president of the Constitutional Court demonstrates the government’s commitment to upholding the rule of law and ensuring justice and fairness in the legal system. Al Dosari’s role will involve overseeing court proceedings, ensuring adherence to legal procedures, and upholding the principles of the Constitution.

Overall, these appointments signal the King’s dedication to promoting transparency, efficiency, and accountability within Bahrain’s governmental bodies. By appointing qualified individuals to key positions, HM the King is taking steps to strengthen Bahrain’s governance and ensure that the voices of the people are heard and represented at the highest levels of decision-making. The new appointees will play crucial roles in shaping Bahrain’s future and contributing to the country’s development and prosperity.
