HH Shaikh Nasser heads the Royal Endurance team in pre-championship inspection

His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, representing HM the King in humanitarian work and youth affairs, recently attended the veterinary inspection for the World Endurance Championship. Shaikh Nasser, who also captains the Royal Endurance Team, will ride the horse Everest la Majorie in the upcoming championship. He will be joined by other jockeys like His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Faisal bin Rashid Al Khalifa, Jaafar Mirza, Othman Al Awadhi, and Salman Isa, as well as reserve jockeys Sarhan Hameed and Hamad Isa.

The veterinary inspection took place in Monpazier, France, where 145 jockeys from 39 countries will compete in a 160 km race on Saturday. Notable figures like HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa and HH Shaikh Faisal bin Rashid Al Khalifa were also present at the event. Shaikh Nasser led the team’s final training session, emphasizing the importance of following the technical plan and showcasing the team’s advanced skills and performance.

Shaikh Nasser expressed confidence in the team’s abilities and recognized the tough competition they will face at the World Championship. He wished the Royal Endurance Team the best of luck in securing top ranks and retaining their title. This event is a showcase of the team’s skills and dedication, highlighting their commitment to excellence in endurance racing.

The presence of highly skilled and experienced jockeys in the Royal Endurance Team bodes well for their chances in the championship. Shaikh Nasser’s leadership and guidance will be instrumental in ensuring the team is well-prepared for the race.
