Saudi Minister of Health Fahd Al-Jalajel recently announced the passing of Abdullah Al-Harithi, the supervisor of the Jamarat health sector. Al-Harithi died while on duty serving Hajj pilgrims in Mina. Al-Jalajel praised Al-Harithi’s dedication and the impact he made through his service in the health management of the Hajj pilgrimage. Al-Harithi was known for his meticulous preparation of health plans for receiving pilgrims at the Jamarat Bridge and ensuring all facilities were in place to serve them.

Over the years, Al-Harithi had been committed to serving the pilgrims and worked alongside his colleagues from the health sector to ensure their well-being. Prior to his role in the Jamarat health sector, he held positions such as Deputy Executive Director for Inventory Control Management and clinic manager at the King Faisal Complex. With extensive experience in health services for Hajj, he had achieved success in leadership roles within the health sectors of Hajj, leading to his appointment to work in the sacred sites this year.

Zahem Al-Otaibi, a consultant at the Ministry of Health, also shared condolences for Al-Harithi, describing him as a beloved brother and colleague known for his noble character, perpetual smile, generosity, and willingness to assist others. Al-Otaibi remarked on the beautiful ending of Al-Harithi’s life, as he passed away while serving the guests of God during the Hajj pilgrimage. He prayed for God’s mercy to shower upon him and for Al-Harithi to be admitted into His vast gardens.

The news of Abdullah Al-Harithi’s passing has reverberated within the Makkah Health Cluster and the health sectors of Hajj, where he was recognized as a leader. His dedication and contribution to serving Hajj pilgrims have left a lasting impact on many lives. Al-Harithi’s commitment to ensuring the well-being of pilgrims was evident in his thorough preparation of health plans and diligent work with his team at the Jamarat Bridge to provide essential services.

As the supervisor of the Jamarat health sector, Al-Harithi played a crucial role in managing the health aspects of the pilgrimage, ensuring that pilgrims received the necessary care and support during their spiritual journey. His passing while on duty exemplifies his dedication to serving others, even in challenging circumstances. The Ministry of Health and his colleagues in the health sector mourn his loss and remember his contributions with gratitude.

Abdullah Al-Harithi’s legacy lives on through the impact he made on the lives of pilgrims and the health management of the Hajj pilgrimage. His years of service and leadership within the health sectors of Hajj have left a lasting imprint on those who had the privilege to work alongside him. Al-Harithi’s commitment to serving others, especially during significant religious events like Hajj, exemplifies the selfless dedication of those who work in the healthcare field to ensure the well-being of others.

In his honor, his colleagues at the Ministry of Health and within the Makkah Health Cluster continue to uphold his legacy by providing compassionate care to pilgrims and maintaining the standards of excellence that Al-Harithi exemplified in his work. May his memory serve as a reminder of the importance of selfless service and dedication to helping others, especially during times of spiritual significance and pilgrimage. Abdullah Al-Harithi’s impact on the health management of the Hajj pilgrimage will be remembered and cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing and working with him.
