Priyanka Gupta and Ya-Lun Wu emerged victorious at the Ladies Two-Player Challenge held at the Emirates Golf Club. The duo scored an impressive 46 points to claim the top spot in a field of 49 participants on the Majlis Course. The competition featured a Greensomes format over the front nine holes, with a mix of the lowest and highest handicappers in each team. The back nine saw a Fourball Betterball format with handicap allowances for each player.

It was a closely contested event with the runners-up, Imyoung Ma and Minkeong Kim, finishing just one point behind the winners. The margin was so slim that the second and third place finishers had to be determined through a countback. Priyanka Gupta and Ya-Lun Wu showcased stellar performance with multiple net birdies and an impressive net eagle over the front nine. Gupta’s highlight was a four-pointer, a gross birdie – net eagle on hole 10 during the back nine.

The results of the competition were based on the Stableford scoring system, with Gupta and Wu securing the top position with 46 points. Imyoung Ma and Minkeong Kim followed closely behind with 45 points, earning the runners-up spot based on the back nine scores. Caronline Grainger and Anne Gely Bouigue also finished with 45 points but had to settle for third place.

The event was a great display of skill and sportsmanship among the women golfers at the Emirates Golf Club. The participants showcased their talent and competitiveness throughout the tournament, creating an exciting atmosphere for all involved.
