Residents in some areas of Abu Dhabi are urged to be extra careful when heading out as dusty conditions may affect visibility. The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) raised the yellow alert for Al Ruwais, Al Mirfa, Habshan, Sila, and parts of Liwa — warning residents of dust. The warning was placed at 9.30 am, with hazy conditions expected to remain until 4 pm, prompting the Abu Dhabi Police to urge drivers to be cautious and avoid distractions amid poor visibility.

While most UAE residents are likely to have a fair to partly cloudy day ahead, some may see rain in the afternoon, as the Met department said that some cumulus clouds may form and bring light rain to the east. The weather may also be dusty at times, as winds may hit the country at speeds of 10-20kmph to 35kmph. Waves in the Arabian Gulf will be light to moderate at times, while those in the Sea of Oman will be light, with temperatures potentially reaching a high of 43 degrees Celsius in Abu Dhabi and Dubai.

As residents in certain areas of Abu Dhabi are cautioned about the dusty conditions affecting visibility, it is essential to remain vigilant while driving to ensure safety on the road. The yellow alert raised by the National Centre of Meteorology covers various regions, including Al Ruwais, Al Mirfa, Habshan, Sila, and parts of Liwa, with hazy conditions expected until 4 pm. Drivers are advised by the Abu Dhabi Police to exercise caution and avoid distractions, emphasizing the importance of being alert during these challenging weather conditions.

The weather forecast for the UAE suggests that despite a fair to partly cloudy day for most residents, some areas may experience light rain in the afternoon due to the formation of cumulus clouds in the east. In addition to potential rainfall, dusty conditions are also expected, with winds reaching speeds of 10-20kmph to 35kmph. The waves in the Arabian Gulf and the Sea of Oman are expected to be light to moderate, highlighting the varying weather conditions across different areas in the region.

Staying informed about the latest weather updates is crucial, especially when dealing with changing weather patterns such as dust storms and potential rainfall. Following the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) for regular updates can help residents prepare for any adverse weather conditions that may impact their daily activities. By staying connected through platforms like WhatsApp Channels provided by local news outlets, individuals can receive real-time information to plan their day accordingly and stay safe during challenging weather conditions.

In addition to the dusty and hazy conditions affecting visibility in certain areas of Abu Dhabi, residents should also be prepared for potential rainfall and fluctuating temperatures. The combination of dust, wind, and light rain can create hazardous driving conditions, necessitating caution and attention from motorists. By following the guidelines set forth by the meteorological authorities and staying updated on the latest weather developments, residents can mitigate the risks associated with changing weather patterns and ensure their safety while navigating through challenging road conditions.
