The National Centre of Meteorology has forecasted fair to partly cloudy weather with light to moderate winds in the UAE. There may also be some blowing dust during the day, and low clouds are expected over the East Coast. Temperatures are predicted to reach as high as 47ºC in some parts of the country, with Abu Dhabi and Dubai seeing highs of 30ºC and 31ºC, respectively. However, temperatures could drop to as low as 17ºC in Abu Dhabi, 16ºC in Dubai, and 24ºC in internal areas. Additionally, humidity levels will range from 30 to 75 per cent in coastal areas.

To stay informed about the latest news and weather updates, it is advisable to follow KT on WhatsApp Channels. The humid conditions are expected to extend into Friday morning in certain coastal areas. Sea conditions are expected to be slight in the Arabian Gulf and the Oman Sea. With these weather forecasts in mind, residents and visitors are encouraged to stay hydrated and take necessary precautions to stay safe in the heat.

As the temperatures soar in the UAE, it is essential to stay cool and avoid prolonged exposure to the sun. Wearing light clothing, staying in shaded areas, and drinking plenty of water are recommended. It is also advisable to limit outdoor activities during the hottest parts of the day to prevent heat-related illnesses. Taking breaks in air-conditioned buildings can help in reducing the risk of heat exhaustion or heatstroke.

In addition to protecting oneself from the heat, it is important to be mindful of the blowing dust that may occur during the day. Dust particles in the air can exacerbate respiratory conditions, so individuals with respiratory issues should take necessary precautions. Using face masks or staying indoors during dusty conditions can help in reducing exposure to airborne particles. Keeping windows and doors closed can also prevent dust from entering indoor spaces.

Residents and tourists in the UAE are urged to stay informed about weather updates and follow safety guidelines during extreme weather conditions. By staying prepared and taking proactive measures, individuals can reduce the risk of heat-related illnesses and other weather-related hazards. With proper planning and awareness, everyone can enjoy the beauty of the UAE while staying safe and healthy in varying weather conditions.
