Students in the UAE who are enrolled in schools affiliated with the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) had reason to celebrate as the results of the ICSE and ISC examinations were announced recently, showing a 100 per cent pass rate across all schools. The top-performing schools internationally for the ICSE examination were located in Dubai, Indonesia, and Singapore, all achieving a perfect pass rate. Similarly, the leading schools for the ISC examination were also in Dubai and Singapore, with a 100 per cent pass rate.
These exams, which concluded in March and April, showed results that were significantly higher than the all India averages. At the Gems Modern Academy, all 147 candidates who sat for the Grade 12 examinations achieved a 100 per cent pass rate. Additionally, the total number of candidates who took the Class 10 exam was 285, all of whom also secured a perfect pass rate. The average scores for the newly introduced ISC subject ‘Mass Media’ were impressive, with Students of Determination achieving 86 per cent for ICSE and 76 per cent for ISC.
Individual achievements were also notable, with students such as Diya Maria Thomas and Spriha Pandey excelling in their respective grades at GMA. Diya Maria Thomas secured the top spot in Grade 12 with a 99.25 per cent while Spriha Pandey achieved the same in Grade 10 with a 99.2 per cent. Nargish Khambatta, Principal of GEMS Modern Academy, expressed pride in the students’ achievements, highlighting their resilience and the supportive environment that contributed to their success.
Anushka Vastawat, the school topper at the Ambassador School in Dubai for grade 12, scored 96.75 percent with centum in Physics and Computer Science. Anjali Sharat, the school topper for grade 10, obtained an impressive 98.6 percent with a centum in Physics, History, and Civics. Both students attributed their success to consistent efforts and the support they received from their teachers, parents, and schools. Anushka Vastawat emphasized the importance of guidance when it came to university selection, which played a significant role in her subsequent acceptance to a top UK university.
Several schools, including JSS International School and Ambassador School, recorded a 100 per cent pass percentage for their ISC and ICSE students. Aishwarya Sinha, the ICSE topper at JSS International School, credited her success to consistent efforts and staying focused on her goals. Suhani Sharma, the ISC topper, highlighted the journey of self-improvement she embarked on, which led to her impressive results. Principals commended their students’ dedication, highlighting the exceptional achievements of those facing challenges and reaffirming their belief in their abilities.
