Residents in some parts of the UAE can expect spells of rainfall in the coming days, as per a forecast by the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM). From August 19 to August 23, the weather is expected to be partly cloudy to cloudy over most areas of the country, with a chance of rainfall over eastern and southern areas. Winds are expected to be light to moderate, blowing from the southeast to northeast with speeds reaching up to 40kmph, causing blowing dust and sand which may reduce visibility. It is advised for residents to exercise caution, especially while driving.

The Arabian Gulf and Oman Sea are expected to see slight to moderate waves, which may become rough at times. Over the past four days, the weather has been partly cloudy and dusty, with scattered rains in some parts of the country. Today’s weather is expected to be partly cloudy to cloudy, particularly over southern and eastern areas, with a possibility of rain over the east coast due to the presence of low clouds.

Temperatures in the mountain areas are expected to drop to as low as 26°C, while in the internal areas, it may reach 27°C. On the other hand, temperatures in the internal areas could go as high as 47°C. Humidity levels may drop to 15% in the mountains, while coastal areas and islands could experience humidity levels of up to 85%. It is recommended to stay updated with the latest news by following KT on WhatsApp Channels for any weather-related updates.

In order to stay safe during the windy conditions, residents are advised to take precautions, especially when driving, due to reduced visibility caused by blowing dust and sand. The NCM forecast warns of dusty and sandy conditions due to winds blowing from the southeast to northeast. These winds may reach speeds of up to 40kmph, affecting various parts of the country. The weather is likely to be partly cloudy to cloudy in some areas, with potential rainfall in eastern and southern regions. The Arabian Gulf and Oman Sea are also expected to experience slight to moderate waves, occasionally becoming rough.

As the weather patterns shift over the coming days, residents should be prepared for changes in temperature and humidity levels. With temperatures varying from 26°C in the mountains to 47°C in internal areas, it is important to stay informed and take necessary precautions. Humidity levels are also expected to reach up to 85% in coastal areas and islands, further adding to the discomfort caused by the weather conditions. Stay updated with the latest news and weather forecasts to ensure your safety and well-being during this period of unsettled weather.
