CBSE Class 10 and Class 12 results were announced recently, bringing joy and excitement to students in UAE. Schools reported a high pass rate, making the students proud of their achievements. However, some students faced initial login challenges to access their results due to the large number of people trying to check simultaneously. Despite the initial hurdles, students were eventually able to view their results by providing necessary details such as admit card roll number, date of birth, examination centre, and school number. Schools are currently in the process of tabulating the results, with many students eagerly waiting for the final outcome.
Pramod Mahajan, Principal of Sharjah Indian School, mentioned that students faced some difficulties while trying to access their results initially but the process gradually eased out. Schools are still waiting for the complete results from the board, which are expected to be emailed to respective school principals. The board exams for Class 10 were conducted from February 15 to March 13, 2024, while Class 12 exams took place from February 15 to April 2. To pass the board exams, students must score a minimum of 33 percent in both internal and external assessments across all subjects; those failing to meet this criterion will not be eligible for the compartment exam.
Arogya Reddy, Principal of Ambassador School Sharjah, revealed that schools are yet to receive the complete results from the board. However, individual students who managed to log on have seen their results and are satisfied with the outcomes so far. The assessment and evaluation pattern for classes 10 and 12 have undergone changes from the academic year 2024-25. The weightage of constructed response questions in the theory examination has been reduced from 40 percent to 30 percent, with more focus on competency-based questions. These changes are aimed at providing a more balanced evaluation of students’ understanding and knowledge.
Moving forward, it is essential for students to stay updated with the latest news and announcements regarding CBSE exams and results. Following platforms like KT on WhatsApp Channels can help students stay informed about any important updates. Despite the initial challenges, the overall pass rate in CBSE exams in UAE has been impressive, reflecting the hard work and dedication of students. As schools continue to tabulate the results and await the complete data from the board, students can take pride in their achievements and look forward to future academic endeavors with confidence and enthusiasm.
