The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has sent 100 humanitarian and relief aid convoys to the Gaza Strip under the operation ‘Chivalrous Knight 3.’ This initiative aims to alleviate the sufferings of the Palestinians affected by the war, with the first shipment arriving on November 24, 2023. The UAE convoys have been carrying various supplies such as medical equipment, food parcels, shelter tents, clothes, water, and more, totaling over 20,000 tonnes. These supplies are transported by around 1,000 trucks through the Rafah Border Crossing.
In the aftermath of the invasion of Rafah, four additional convoys were dispatched with a total load of 320 tonnes. These convoys mainly focused on providing shelter tents and food parcels to the displaced individuals and those affected by the dire circumstances.
