Sharjah Ruler grants 3,578 scholarships to Emirati students and children of female citizens.

Male and female Emirati students in Sharjah, as well as the children of female citizens in the emirate, are set to benefit from 3,578 scholarships recently approved by Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member, and Ruler of Sharjah. These scholarships will provide students with the opportunity to pursue bachelor’s programs and various specializations at different universities in Sharjah. The aim is to support the educational aspirations of students and empower them to achieve their academic goals.

Among the universities offering scholarships, the University of Sharjah is providing 1,818 scholarships, while the American University of Sharjah is offering 165 scholarships to students in the emirate. In addition to these, there are 808 scholarships available at the University of Dhaid, 335 scholarships at the University of Kalba, 392 scholarships at the University of Khorfakkan, and 60 scholarships at the Sharjah Maritime Academy in Khorfakkan. These scholarships will not only help students financially but also open up new avenues for academic and personal growth.

By providing scholarships to a large number of students, the government of Sharjah is emphasizing the importance of education and ensuring that all students have equal opportunities to pursue their studies. The scholarships cover a wide range of disciplines, allowing students to choose programs that match their interests and career aspirations. This initiative aims to create a skilled and educated workforce that can contribute to the development and prosperity of the emirate.
