The authority made the decision to halt operations as heavy rains pounded the country, causing safety concerns for passengers. The heavy rains and thunderstorms were affecting various parts of the UAE, with Dubai experiencing showers and lightning as early as 2.35 am on the same day.

The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) issued alerts warning residents about the severe weather conditions, prompting the Sharjah RTA to prioritize the safety of passengers and suspend the intercity bus operations temporarily. The authority took necessary precautions to ensure the well-being of commuters and avoid any potential risks associated with traveling during adverse weather conditions. As the weather improved, the Sharjah RTA announced the resumption of intercity bus services, allowing passengers to travel between different emirates safely.

The decision to resume intercity bus services comes as a relief to commuters who rely on public transportation for their daily travels between different emirates. The Sharjah RTA’s swift action in suspending operations during severe weather conditions demonstrates their commitment to prioritizing passenger safety above all else. By monitoring weather alerts and taking proactive measures, the authority ensures a smooth and secure travel experience for all passengers using their services.

The resumption of intercity bus services will provide a much-needed convenience for commuters who may have been inconvenienced by the temporary suspension. Passengers can once again rely on the Sharjah RTA’s intercity bus services to travel between different emirates efficiently and safely. The authority’s decision to resume operations reflects their dedication to ensuring a reliable and accessible public transportation system for residents and visitors alike.

As the country continues to experience unpredictable weather patterns, the Sharjah RTA remains vigilant in monitoring and responding to any challenges that may arise. By staying proactive and taking necessary precautions, the authority can adapt to changing conditions and maintain the efficiency of their services. Commuters can have confidence in the Sharjah RTA’s commitment to providing safe and reliable intercity bus services throughout the UAE.

In conclusion, the resumption of intercity bus services by the Sharjah Roads and Transport Authority marks a positive development for commuters in the UAE.
