The vibrant city of Dubai offers numerous perks to students, making their lives easier and more affordable as they navigate through their academic journey. Whether it’s grabbing a quick burger between classes or commuting to university, the city has introduced various discounts and offers to cater to the needs of students. Here is a comprehensive list of places and services that provide discounts to students across Dubai.

Firstly, students can avail discounts on flights with Emirates and Etihad Airways. Emirates offers a 10% discount to students on economy and business class trips, along with extra baggage allowance. Etihad Airways also provides discounts on flights to students between the ages of 18 and 32. Both airlines offer discounts to international students residing in the UAE, and students must present a valid student ID or school acceptance letter to avail the offer.

Secondly, the Fazaa loyalty card programme offers a ‘Fazaa Student Card’ that provides discounts at restaurants, universities, libraries, shopping outlets, and cinemas across the UAE. Students simply need to present their student discount card to avail these discounts.

Thirdly, several banks in the UAE offer student packages with no opening fees or minimum balance requirements. Banks like ADCB, Liv, ADIB, Emirates Islamic Bank, and Emirates NBD provide students with discounts on movies, restaurants, hotels, and more.

Moreover, the personal Nol card offers a 50% concession in fares to students between the ages of 5 and 23, making commuting easier and more affordable for students. The card is linked to the Emirates ID, allowing users to recover their balance in case the card is lost or stolen.

Additionally, students can enroll in driving courses at Emirates Driving Institute with youth packages that include benefits such as paying in installments at 0% interest, fast-track training, and unlimited tests. This provides students with flexibility and ease in learning to drive.

Furthermore, students can unwind and relax by watching movies at Roxy Cinemas for a discounted price of Dh59, which includes a movie, drink, and popcorn. This offer is valid from Mondays to Fridays until 6pm at Roxy’s Dubai Hills Mall, City Walk, and The Beach JBR locations.

Lastly, students can purchase digital essentials from Apple and Samsung at discounted prices through their education stores. Students can also enjoy discounts on music streaming platforms like Spotify and Anghami, making entertainment more affordable for students.

In conclusion, Dubai offers a wide range of discounts and offers for students, making their academic journey more manageable and cost-effective. By taking advantage of these student discounts, students can save money while enjoying various services and experiences in the city. Whether it’s traveling, shopping, or entertainment, Dubai has something to offer for every student looking to make the most of their time in the emirate.
