The Saudi Armed Forces take part in ‘Eager Lion 2024’ exercise in Jordan

The Saudi Armed Forces are currently taking part in the “Eager Lion 2024” military exercise in Jordan, alongside forces from 31 other countries. This exercise, which will run from May 12 to 23, 2024, aims to enhance international military cooperation through joint operations training. Major General Adel Al-Balawi of the Armed Forces Training and Development Authority highlighted the importance of experience-sharing and joint operational planning in strengthening the capabilities of military units. The exercise will cover various areas such as missile air defense, counterterrorism tactics, border security operations, crisis management, and field exercises including hostage liberation and cyber operations.

The “Eager Lion 2024” military exercise will play a crucial role in enhancing the experience and capabilities of the participating military units. Through joint operations training, the exercise aims to improve international military cooperation and strengthen the ability of military forces to work together effectively. Participating units will engage in a range of activities such as missile air defense, counterterrorism tactics, and border security operations.
