Saudi student Jawaher Al-Enezi has made waves in the tech world with her award-winning app “My Child.” Developed during her time at the Apple Developer Academy, the app aims to support children and young people who stutter by providing therapeutic exercises and real-life practice scenarios. Al-Enezi drew inspiration from her personal experiences, having developed a stutter at a young age. With the help of her father, she learned techniques to manage her stutter, which she incorporated into the app. Using AVFAudio technology, “My Child” features characters inspired by her father and grandfather to help users practice speech techniques.
