The Family Guidance Strategy was recently launched by Minister of Human Resources and Social Development Eng. Ahmed Al-Rajhi during the opening of the 7th edition of the 2024 Family Forum in Riyadh. This strategy includes more than 12 initiatives that aim to cover all family and societal requirements. It focuses on empowering and improving the performance of those in the field of family guidance, as well as qualifying them and enhancing their skills. The goal is to enhance society’s understanding of the role of family guidance in improving family relations, resolving conflicts, and supporting stability. The ministry plans to issue licenses for 500 practitioners in 2024, with the aim of reaching 4,000 family counseling practitioners by 2030.
