NEOM CEO Nadhmi Al-Nasr recently revealed that there are about 140,000 workers involved in various projects at the NEOM giga city site, working around the clock. This number is expected to reach 200,000 by 2025, showing the massive scale of development happening in the area. Al-Nasr also shared that there are currently 5,000 full-time employees from over 100 countries working on the NEOM project, highlighting the diverse and global nature of the workforce.

Al-Nasr made these comments during the GREAT FUTURES initiative conference, held at the King Abdullah Financial District in Riyadh. The conference focused on major projects in the Kingdom and their role in achieving the goals of Vision 2030, Saudi Arabia’s ambitious plan for economic and social transformation. Along with NEOM, heads of other major projects like Qiddiya, Diriyah, and the Red Sea also spoke at the session, showcasing the diverse range of projects contributing to the country’s development.
