Interior Minister: We are ready to prevent any disturbances to the peace of Hajj

The Chairman of the Supreme Hajj Committee, Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif, recently emphasized the importance of security measures in place during the Hajj pilgrimage to ensure the safety and peace of all pilgrims. He commended the efforts of the security authorities in coordinating and monitoring the pilgrims’ movement to Mina easily and smoothly. The minister directed them to continue their efforts in facilitating the pilgrims’ rituals until they safely return home. Saudi Arabia takes pride in serving the guests of God, with the utmost keenness of King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman in ensuring the comfort and ease of the pilgrims.

Members of the security and military authorities have been commended for their high level of professionalism and readiness in eliminating any transgressions that may disturb the peace of Hajj. The integration and coordination between the security and military authorities have contributed to the successful arrival of pilgrims to the Holy Sites. Director of Public Security and Chairman of the Hajj Security Committee, Lt. Gen. Mohammed Al-Bassami, highlighted the results achieved by the security forces during the implementation of security plans and assured the readiness of all agencies to ensure the security and safety of pilgrims.

During a visit to the command and control center of the Hajj security forces in Mina, Prince Abdulaziz reviewed the progress of work and the implementation of security plans. He was briefed on the latest technologies and applications of artificial intelligence developed in cooperation with the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority to support security and organizational tasks during Hajj. The development of the command and control center was inaugurated to enhance the quality of work performance at the center in accordance with international standards.

The visit was accompanied by Deputy Minister of Interior Dr. Nasser Al-Daoud, Assistant Minister of Interior for Operations Affairs Lt. Gen. Saeed Al-Qahtani, and other senior officials. The minister’s emphasis on security measures and coordination between security and military authorities reflects Saudi Arabia’s commitment to serving the guests of God during the Hajj pilgrimage. The use of advanced technologies and artificial intelligence further enhances the efficiency and effectiveness of security operations to ensure the safety and comfort of pilgrims.

In conclusion, Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif’s visit to the command and control center of the Hajj security forces highlights the importance of security measures in place during the pilgrimage. The coordination between security and military authorities, along with the use of advanced technologies, plays a crucial role in ensuring the safety and peace of all pilgrims during their rituals.
