Egyptian Prime Minister meets with Saudi Ministers of Finance, Commerce, and Investment

The Egyptian Prime Minister, Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, recently visited Riyadh and held separate talks with several Saudi ministers, including Finance Minister Mohammed Al-Jadaan, Commerce Minister Dr. Majed Al-Qasabi, and Minister of Investment Eng. Khalid Al-Falih. During his meeting with Al-Jadaan, they exchanged friendly discussions on various topics of common interest. The Egyptian delegation included Minister of Finance Ahmed Kujuk, Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade Eng. Hassan Al-Khatib, and other officials. On the Saudi side, Saudi Ambassador to Egypt Saleh bin Eid Al-Hussaini and officials from the Ministry of Finance were present.

Madbouly also met with Commerce Minister Dr. Majed Al-Qasabi to discuss the qualitative partnership between Egypt and Saudi Arabia in trade and investment. The focus was on enhancing the role of the private sector in various sectors to achieve the Kingdom’s Vision 2030. Additionally, Madbouly had a meeting with Minister of Investment Eng. Khalid Al-Falih to discuss mutual investments between the two countries. They explored ways to support and stimulate the private sector in both nations and reviewed the progress of discussions on the agreement to protect and encourage mutual investments between Saudi Arabia and Egypt.

The meetings between the Egyptian Prime Minister and the Saudi ministers are aimed at strengthening the economic ties between the two countries. The discussions focused on enhancing cooperation in trade and investment, supporting the private sector, and developing mutual investment relations.
