Saudi Arabia is currently undergoing significant legislative development and reforms under the leadership of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. Minister of Justice Dr. Walid Al-Samaani emphasized the importance of strengthening legal principles, justice, and transparency while ensuring predictability of rulings and legal certainty. The International Conference of Judicial Training 2024 in Riyadh is being held under the theme of “The future of judicial training in the age of digital transformation,” where over 600 participants and 45 speakers from around the world are discussing various topics related to judicial training.

Since the launch of Vision 2030, Saudi Arabia has made unprecedented progress in all fields, including the judicial system. The Ministry of Justice has focused on enhancing the quality of legal aspects to improve the efficiency of the justice system. Al-Samaani highlighted the importance of training and qualification in achieving justice, with the Judicial Training Center working to qualify members of the legal and justice system in coordination with partners across different sectors.

The use of digital transformation and artificial intelligence techniques is seen as essential in developing capabilities and achieving higher levels of judicial quality. The Ministry of Justice is dedicated to constantly improving these capabilities to ensure the best possible outcomes. Investing in human capacity building is crucial in the development of the judicial process, with the Judicial Training Center focusing on training judges and other legal professionals to enhance the quality of training provided.

The conference addresses key topics such as the impact of digital transformation on judicial training, creating and developing judicial training content, the use of technology and artificial intelligence, and effective assessment of training impact. The participants, including legal experts and speakers, will engage in seven sessions and workshops to explore these important issues. The event aims to promote discussions on the future of judicial training and how technology can enhance the quality of legal and judicial education.

The Ministry of Justice’s efforts to improve judicial training and qualification reflect a commitment to achieving justice in its best form. By investing in human capital and embracing digital transformation, Saudi Arabia is paving the way for a more efficient and transparent legal system. The conference serves as a platform for international collaboration and knowledge exchange, with participants from around the world sharing insights and best practices in judicial training.

In conclusion, the International Conference of Judicial Training 2024 in Riyadh highlights Saudi Arabia’s dedication to ensuring the highest standards of justice through continuous development and reform.
