Winners of the 3rd Katara Prize for Arabic Poetry have been revealed

The Cultural Village Foundation (Katara) recently announced the winners of the 3rd Katara Prize for Arabic Poetry, which focused on Hafsa bint Umar, one of the Mothers of the Believers in Islam. Taimor Al Azany from Yemen, Saddam Bouaziz from Algeria, and Ahmed Al Najjar from Yemen took home the top three spots in the competition, showcasing their poetic talents and knowledge of Islamic history. The prize aims to educate and engage young people about the importance of Prophet Mohammed’s family members, particularly the Mothers of the Believers, and their impact on society.

The 3rd Katara Prize for Arabic Poetry received nearly 300 entries from 16 different Arab and foreign countries, demonstrating the widespread interest and participation in the competition.
