Qatar’s participation in the Future Aviation Forum in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia highlights the country’s commitment to enhancing cooperation in air transportation. The Qatari delegation, led by Minister of Transport H E Jassim Saif Ahmed Al Sulaiti, engaged in discussions with several transportation ministers, civil aviation authority chiefs, airline and airport presidents, CEOs of aircraft manufacturing companies, and global investors.
During the forum, Minister Al Sulaiti met with officials from Nigeria, Palestine, Tunisia, and the Kingdom of Tonga to discuss various aspects of cooperation in transportation. Discussions focused on areas such as training, technical upskilling, capacity building in civil aviation, and the development of transportation infrastructure.
Minister Al Sulaiti’s meeting with Nigeria’s Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, H E Hon. Festus Keyamo, highlighted the potential for Qatari-Nigerian cooperation in air transportation. They explored ways to enhance collaboration and strengthen ties between the two countries in the aviation sector.
In a separate meeting with Palestine’s Minister of Transport, H E Tarek Hosni Zaarab, Minister Al Sulaiti discussed opportunities for cooperation between Qatar and Palestine in transportation. The discussions aimed at enhancing ties and fostering collaboration in various transportation sectors.
The meeting between Minister Al Sulaiti and Tunisia’s Minister of Equipment and Housing, H E Sarra Zaafrani Zenzri, focused on enhancing Qatari-Tunisian cooperation in transportation, civil aviation, and ports. The ministers explored ways to develop and strengthen ties between the two countries in the transportation sector.
Minister Al Sulaiti also met with the Kingdom of Tonga’s Minister for Infrastructure, Hon. Sevenitini Toumou, to discuss cooperation ties between Qatar and Tonga in transportation. The discussions aimed at exploring avenues for developing and enhancing cooperation in various transportation sectors between the two countries.
