Minister of Transport H E Jassim Saif Ahmed Al Sulaiti recently attended the Global Rail Transport Infrastructure Exhibition and Conference (GRTIEC) 2024 in Abu Dhabi. The event was opened by H H Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan and featured a number of Arab and foreign officials, as well as CEOs of global railroad companies. Minister Al Sulaiti, along with other dignitaries, toured the Ministry of Transport’s pavilion to view mockups and presentations on public bus infrastructure, railroad projects in Qatar, and plans for 100% electrification of public buses by 2030.
