The Indonesian Embassy in Doha, Qatar has announced its participation in the 33rd edition of the Doha International Book Fair. This marks the embassy’s third consecutive participation, and they are thrilled to be a part of this prestigious event. As part of their involvement, the embassy will be hosting a discussion talk at the Cultural Lounge featuring two Indonesian speakers: Arys Hilman Nugraha, chairman of the Indonesian Publishers Association (IKAPI), who will discuss Book Copyrights, and bestselling novelist Dewi (Dee) Lestari, known for her work “Supernova,” who will talk about the contemporary landscape of Indonesian literature on May 16th. In addition to the discussions, the embassy will also have a booth at the exhibition, located at H2-49, showcasing a variety of book titles from publishers under IKAPI, UGM Press, IPB Press, and books by Indonesian diaspora living in Doha.
