Al Shafallah Center for Persons with Disabilities, a branch of the Qatar Foundation for Social Work, has begun its summer activities in Al Hilal and Lusail targeting individuals with autism and intellectual disabilities. With 158 participants of all genders between the ages of 3 and 19, the events will run from June 30 until July 25. The primary goal of these activities is to raise awareness of the rights of persons with disabilities to engage in summer activities and develop their skills through various programs.
CEO Mariam Saif Al Suwaidi emphasized the center’s commitment to providing services to its affiliates during the summer and building family partnerships through their involvement. The center is also focused on strengthening societal partnerships by engaging with state ministries and organizations to offer diverse activities that cater to the needs of the participants.
