The CineMoon Ensemble, a member of the Qatar Philharmonic Orchestra, is returning to Turkiye’s picturesque western Aegean coast for the annual Guvercinada Dinletileri concert series. Organized by the KUSAV Foundation with the support of Kuşadası Municipality, this year’s concerts have been given the special title of “CineMoon Days.” Founder and Artistic Director Merve Kenet Bulun expressed her excitement for the upcoming performances, which will feature three unique concerts showcasing a blend of cultural influences and talented musicians.

The series kicks off with the “Indigo” concert on July 7, featuring Qatari composer Dana Al Fardan and the CineMoon Ensemble under the baton of Conductor Giovanni Pasini. This cultural exchange is a special opportunity to introduce Qatari music to Turkish audiences and share a part of Qatari culture with the home country. The anticipation for the “Indigo” concert is high, with tickets already sold out. The CineMoon Ensemble’s performance promises to be their most ambitious yet, with over 20 musicians from various backgrounds collaborating on stage.

The second concert, “Oldies Goldies,” scheduled for July 11, will feature a unique blend of classic film music and live performances. Soloists from Qatar, Turkiye, and France will come together to create an unforgettable experience for the audience. The program includes the first film music ever written by Saint-Saëns, accompanied by live screenings of Charlie Chaplin films. Visual designs for the concert have been created by Suleyman Bulun, adding an extra layer of artistic flair to the performance.

The final concert, “Moon Meets the Stars,” on July 14, will feature world-renowned French soprano Fabienne Conrad and baritone Murat Duyan in a magical setting at the historic Kervansaray. This concert is set to be a grand finale to the CineMoon Days series, bringing together a diverse array of talented musicians and soloists for an evening of exceptional music. Bulun extends a warm invitation to music lovers to attend the concerts, emphasizing the importance of art in connecting people’s hearts and making the world a more beautiful place.

The CineMoon Ensemble’s presence in Kuşadası for the third consecutive year reflects their commitment to bringing exceptional musical performances to audiences in Turkiye and beyond. The ensemble’s collaboration with soloists and orchestra members from various prestigious institutions adds a unique and vibrant element to their concerts. Through their performances, the CineMoon Ensemble not only showcases their musical prowess but also celebrates cultural exchange and unity through the universal language of music.

As the CineMoon Ensemble embarks on their CineMoon Days concerts in Kuşadası, audiences can expect a series of captivating performances that highlight the diverse talents of the ensemble’s musicians. From the cultural exchange of Qatari music to the blend of classic film music and live performances, each concert promises to be a one-of-a-kind experience for music lovers. With a lineup of talented soloists and musicians from around the world, the CineMoon Ensemble’s performances are sure to leave a lasting impression on audiences and continue to build bridges between cultures through the power of music.
