QNB, the largest financial institution in the Middle East and Africa, has launched a new Corporate Social Responsibility initiative in collaboration with Kidzania Doha, an educational entertainment destination. The Sustainability Arts Camp aims to educate and inspire children aged 4 to 14 through creative and eco-friendly activities. Running from June 26 to August 21, the camp focuses on fostering environmental awareness and financial literacy among young participants.
The centerpiece of the camp is a hands-on project where children create their own ATM models using recycled materials. This activity is designed to teach the importance of recycling and creative problem-solving. In addition to arts and crafts, the camp will feature engaging financial skills workshops delivered by QNB staff. These sessions will introduce basic financial concepts in a fun and interactive manner, helping kids understand the value of money, saving, and budgeting.
Participants will also have the opportunity to take part in an eco-friendly costume fashion show competition. Using recycled and sustainable materials, children will design and showcase their costumes, promoting creativity and environmental consciousness. Mr. Abdullah Mohammad Arbabi, Vice President – CSR and Sponsorships at QNB Group, expressed excitement about the camp, stating that it combines art, sustainability, and financial education to nurture the next generation.
