QCDC hosts ‘Irtiqaiyun’ celebration for Sudanese educators graduating from Career Development Programme

Qatar Career Development Centre (QCDC) recently celebrated the graduation of the 5th cohort of Sudanese teachers from its comprehensive career development programme in collaboration with the ‘Irtiqaiyun’ Organisation for Education and Development. The ceremony, held at the Education City Student Centre, marked the conclusion of a series of workshops, training sessions, and activities aimed at enhancing the career development skills of more than 250 Sudanese educators, helping them integrate into Qatar’s education environment.

Dr. Tajalsir Kardaman, Head of Career Programmes and Services at QCDC, expressed satisfaction with the programme’s outcomes, stating that the collaboration with local institutions in Qatar and Sudanese organizations like ‘Irtiqaiyun’ has been fruitful. The initiative aimed to develop the skills and abilities of the Sudanese community members and prepare them for integration into Qatar’s education sector. The efforts of internal partnerships provided the necessary support for the participants.

The ceremony was attended by Deputy Chief of Mission at the Embassy of the Republic of Sudan in Qatar, Alwaleed Abdullah, along with diplomatic staff from the embassy. The Director of QCDC, Abdulla Ahmed Al Mansoori, and CEO of ‘Irtiqaiyun’, Dr. Osama Salem Sahl, were also present, along with representatives from the participating organizations. The event celebrated the hard work and dedication of the participants in completing the career development programme and highlighted the importance of collaboration between Qatar and Sudanese institutions in supporting educational initiatives.

Through a series of workshops, training sessions, and activities, QCDC and ‘Irtiqaiyun’ aimed to enhance the career development skills of Sudanese educators, ultimately facilitating their integration into Qatar’s education environment. Dr. Tajalsir Kardaman emphasized the importance of preparing the Sudanese community members for success in Qatar’s education sector through internal partnerships and collaboration with local and Sudanese organizations. The programme provided the necessary support and resources for the participants to thrive in their new roles in Qatar.

The ceremony at the Education City Student Centre marked the successful completion of the career development programme for the 5th cohort of Sudanese teachers. The event recognized the achievements and hard work of the participants and celebrated their successful integration into Qatar’s education sector. The presence of key dignitaries from the Embassy of the Republic of Sudan in Qatar and representatives from QCDC and ‘Irtiqaiyun’ underscored the importance of international collaboration in supporting educational initiatives and promoting professional development for educators.

In conclusion, the collaboration between QCDC, ‘Irtiqaiyun’, and other local and Sudanese organizations has been instrumental in supporting the career development of Sudanese educators in Qatar. The successful completion of the programme highlights the dedication and commitment of the participants in enhancing their skills and abilities for success in the education sector. The ceremony served as a testament to the positive impact of international partnerships in promoting professional development and supporting the integration of educators into new environments.
