The Ministry of Sports and Youth in Doha, Qatar, has collaborated with the ‘Muallemi’ portal to introduce the “PASS” programme aimed at supporting and empowering Qatari youth. Launched on August 25, the initiative is designed to enhance the academic capabilities of Qatari youth in alignment with the Qatar National Vision 2030. The programme focuses on preparing youth for international standardised tests such as the ACT, SAT, and IELTS, through a structured approach that caters to the unique needs of each participant.
Delivered through the Muallemi online learning platform, the “PASS” programme ensures widespread access for participants across Qatar, breaking down logistical barriers that may have hindered participation. This digital approach enables a larger number of beneficiaries to take advantage of the resources and support offered, without any geographical limitations. The initiative aims to equip Qatari youth with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in higher education and beyond, ultimately contributing to their academic and professional development.
HE Sheikh Abdulrahman bin Fahad Al Thani, Director of Muallemi, expressed gratitude for the support from the Ministry of Sports and Youth, highlighting their dedication to empowering Qatari youth. Fawaz Al Misifri, Director of the Youth Affairs Department at the Ministry, emphasized the importance of initiatives that contribute to skills development among Qatari youth. He reiterated the Ministry’s commitment to providing financial and logistical support to help youth achieve their aspirations and goals.
The collaboration between the Ministry of Sports and Youth and the ‘Muallemi’ portal represents a significant step forward in empowering Qatari youth to overcome academic challenges and broaden their educational horizons. The Ministry is encouraging all Qatari youth preparing for international standardised tests to register for the programme, with registration available through an electronic link on the Ministry’s social media platforms. The programme, which will run for up to three months, offers personalised training schedules, pre- and post-assessments, and access to private online tutors free of charge.
Participants can expect a comprehensive support system that covers all costs associated with the programme, ensuring they receive the full benefit of this initiative. The Ministry of Sports and Youth’s commitment to empowering Qatari youth through education and skills development is evident in their efforts to provide accessible and tailored support to participants of the “PASS” programme. By equipping youth with the tools and resources needed to excel in their academic pursuits, the programme is set to make a positive impact on the educational landscape of Qatar and contribute to the realization of Qatar National Vision 2030.
