The session will address the severe assaults by the Israeli occupation forces in the occupied Palestinian territories, including the ongoing onslaught on the Gaza Strip and the retention of martyrs’ bodies by Israel, the occupying power. It will also review the outcomes of the recent Arab Summit in Manama, focusing on ensuring the right to health and education during armed conflicts.

The focus will be on AI ethics and addressing the challenges posed by this technology to ensure the optimal enjoyment of human rights. Additionally, the logo for the 2025 Arab Human Rights Day will be approved during the session, with the day to be observed annually on March 16. The recommendations arising from the session will be presented to the Arab League Council at the ministerial level during the next regular session (162) in September for consideration and adoption.
