The State of Qatar has strongly condemned the recent attack by Israeli settlers on the headquarters of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in Jerusalem. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Qatar described the attack as a blatant challenge to international law and blatant intimidation under the guise of freedom of expression. The Ministry warned that the systematic Israeli targeting of UNRWA is aimed at liquidating it and depriving millions of Palestinians of necessary services, especially with the continuation of the brutal war on the sector.

Qatar emphasized the need for the international community to come together to confront this plan and avoid its disastrous humanitarian repercussions. The Ministry renewed Qatar’s full support for UNRWA, based on its firm and supportive position for the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people, including their right to establish an independent state on the 1967 borders with East Jerusalem as its capital. This condemnation comes at a time when tensions in the region are high, and calls for justice and accountability for such attacks are growing louder.

The attack on the UNRWA headquarters is just one example of the ongoing violence and oppression faced by the Palestinian people. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Qatar emphasized the importance of standing firm against such attacks and ensuring that the rights and needs of Palestinians are protected. Qatar’s support for UNRWA reflects its commitment to upholding international law and promoting peace in the region.

Qatar’s condemnation of the attack on UNRWA also highlights the urgent need for a peaceful resolution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs called on the international community to take action to address the root causes of the conflict and work towards a just and lasting solution. Qatar’s support for UNRWA is part of its broader efforts to promote stability and security in the region and ensure that the rights of all people are respected.

As tensions continue to escalate in the region, Qatar’s condemnation of the attack on UNRWA sends a clear message that such acts of aggression will not be tolerated. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated Qatar’s commitment to supporting the Palestinian people and defending their rights. By standing up against injustices and calling for accountability, Qatar is playing a crucial role in promoting peace and stability in the Middle East.

In conclusion, the attack on the UNRWA headquarters in Jerusalem is a concerning development that highlights the urgent need for action to protect the rights of the Palestinian people. Qatar’s condemnation of the attack and its ongoing support for UNRWA demonstrate its commitment to upholding international law and promoting peace in the region. By calling for justice and accountability, Qatar is working towards a just and lasting solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. The international community must come together to confront such attacks and ensure that the rights and needs of Palestinians are respected.
