The Qatar Philharmonic Orchestra recently announced an upcoming concert at the Opera House in Katara Cultural Village titled “Russian Greats: Rachmaninoff and Tchaikovsky.” The event, set to take place next Sunday, will be conducted by Dr. Kamoliddin Urinbaev and will feature pianist Fazliddin Husanov. The program for the concert will include two significant pieces from the late 19th century, starting with Rachmaninoff’s popular “Piano Concerto No. 2,” known for its beautiful melodies and emotional depth. Husanov, the soloist for this piece, will showcase his exceptional talent while highlighting the dynamic interaction between the piano and the orchestra.
