Qatar participates in Arab-Islamic ministerial meeting on Palestine

The State of Qatar recently participated in a meeting in Madrid focused on international efforts to end the war on Gaza and implement a two-state solution in Palestine. The meeting was hosted by Prime Minister of Spain, H E Dr. Pedro Sanchez, and included various European ministers and officials. Representing Qatar was Minister of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, H E Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulaziz bin Saleh Al Khulaifi. In his address, Al Khulaifi reiterated Qatar’s unwavering support for the Palestinian cause, emphasizing the importance of international legitimacy and the two-state solution for the establishment of an independent Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as its capital.

During the meeting, Al Khulaifi highlighted Qatar’s continuous efforts with international partners to achieve a ceasefire in Gaza. This ceasefire is crucial in alleviating the suffering of the Palestinian people, securing the release of detainees and prisoners, and paving the way for comprehensive peace and lasting stability in the region.
