Qatar Museums unveils exciting lineup of specially selected events for August

The month of August in Doha, Qatar is set to be full of enriching indoor experiences for both children and adults, thanks to Qatar Museums (QM). From workshops to camps and exhibitions, there is something for everyone to enjoy. One exciting event is the Kids Summer Camp at M7 & Liwan, a 5-day camp focusing on character development and storytelling. Participants will engage in hands-on creative activities to bring their imagined characters to life, culminating in a showcase for families to enjoy.

The Museum of Islamic Art (MIA) will also be offering various activities, including storytelling sessions, art workshops, and a Family Day event centered around science. Additionally, Mathaf: Arab Museum of Modern Art will host workshops such as Mixed Media with Fabric and Cartooning for Critical Thinkers. These workshops are designed to inspire creativity and critical thinking among attendees of all ages.

The National Museum of Qatar (NMOQ) is organizing workshops on Cybersecurity, Minecraft Education, and storytelling sessions like “The Farmer who saved the Village.” These events aim to educate and entertain participants while fostering a love for learning and curiosity about the world around them. Similarly, 3-2-1 Olympic & Sports Museum is hosting a Summer Olympic Festival and Storytelling Program, providing a mix of fun, education, and entertainment for kids and adults.

Archeology & Heritage workshops titled Artefacts Workshop will be held at Liwan, allowing both children and adults to learn about artifacts and pottery sorting. Dadu, Children’s Museum of Qatar, will also offer workshops like Design Thinking and OctoStudio, providing engaging and hands-on experiences for young learners. These workshops aim to foster creativity, problem-solving skills, and a love for cultural exploration among participants.
